She was predeceased by : her parents, Lorenzo Jordan and Nannie Drew Jordan; her daughter Yvonne; and her brothers, Floyd and Richard.

She is survived by : her son Henry Gatling; and her grandchildren, Michael Gatling (Jalanda) of New Kent County, Virginia and Veronica Henry of Franklin, Tennessee. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
