He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Rose and Virginia Rose; and his brothers, Odes Graham Rose and Donald Earl Rose. He is survived by: his wife Alma Bynum Rose; his children, Jimmy Ray Rose of Clayton and Donna Lynn Toler (Keith) of Smithfield; his sister Brenda Sue Llyod of Princeton; his grandsons, Christopher Toler of High Point and Zachary Toler; his nephews, Mike, Pete and Rex Rose; his great-nephew Timmy Rose; and his great-niece Samantha Dillon.
