He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Byrd and Pauline Jones Byrd; his former wife Wanda Seawell Byrd; his siblings, Willis Paul Byrd, Graye Langley and Grace Woody Mcleod; and his grandson Dalton Reese.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia English Byrd of Selma; his children, Channing Byrd (Kaye) of Selma and Christian Byrd of Selma; his stepdaughters, Kimberly Danyale Reese of Newland and Crystal Moore (Dexter) of Cameron; his siblings, Tom Stanley (Lyndall) of Savannah, GA, Frances Byrd of Clayton, Jeanette Hanson of South Carolina and Becky Bailey (Wilbur) of Garner; and his grandchildren, Paige Reese, Kendall Moore, Taylor Dabney, Jade Dabney and DJ Dabney.
