He is survived by: his child Precious; his niece Valerie; his children, Moses Robert Lee Mitchener, Jr. of Selma, NC and Jenny Mitchener of Selma, NC; his nieces, Tavara Mitchener of Selma, NC, Tykeyna Mitchener of Dunn, NC and Tyrequa Mitchener of Madison, AL; his mother-in-law Mildred Sanders; and his siblings, Pauline Sanders (Carl) of Clayton, Helen Clark Clayton (Harry) and Leroy.
