He was predeceased by: his parents, Deloris Tyndall Hope and Nicholas Montijo. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Elena Montijo; his daughters, Melissa Lenee Montijo and Janessa Montijo; and his siblings, Janice Lenee Howard (Julio Fochi), Ann Cavenhaugh, Tammy Hope McDowell (James) and Russell Gene Hope (January).
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pink Hill Funeral Home (1056 NC-11, Pink Hill, NC 28572). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fellowship Church of God (3304 US-117, Rose Hill, NC 28458).
