We are sad to announce that on July 18, 2025, at the age of 73, Amanda Anderson of Shelby, North Carolina, born in York, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Amanda may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
A reception will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 4:00 PM. The lying in state will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the St. John Missionary Baptist Church (1282 Bradford Heights Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054).
