He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jan; his parents, Joe and Betty DePriest; his brother David DePriest of Martinsville; his stepchildren, Julie Mills Perry (Burch) of Edenton, N. C. and Fred Mills (Rachel) of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Bryson, Warner Perry, Fred Mills III and Cate Mills; and his nephews, Nick and Chris DePriest.
