It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Faye Phillips Fitts of Siler City, North Carolina, who passed away on July 21, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Barney Phillips and Ellen Hilliard Phillips; her husband William Robert Fitts, Jr.; her brother Archie Phillips (Betty); and her brother-in-law Oren Elkins.

She is survived by : her children, William Fitts, III (Amy) of Siler City, Johnny Fitts (Amy Jo Hussey) of Siler City and Patti Faye Hargis (Alan) of Dunn; her sister Mattie Lee Elkins of Goldston; her grandchildren, Cassie Price, Mary Grace Coley (Lee), Luke Hargis, Lance Hargis and Harrison Hargis; and her great grandchildren, Emma Grace Coley and Analeigh Faye Coley.
