He was predeceased by : his siblings, Lois Boone Chandler and Gene Boone. He is survived by : his wife Rachel Boone (Walker); his children, Ronda Boone Peterson of Cary, Dana Boone Smith (Phillip) of Greensboro and Bryan E. Boone (Elizabeth) of Sanford; his siblings, Phyllis Boone DeRita of Burlington and Thurman "Pop" Boone (Janie) of Burlington; and his grandchildren, Bennett, Lacey Peterson, Sarah, Anna Boone, Owen and Grant Smith.
