He was predeceased by : his son Michael Davis; and his sister Thelma Bissette. He is survived by : his close friend Nancy Bunn; his son Joe Davis of Wilson; and his grandchildren, Zachary Davis (Heather) of Wilson, Daniel Davis (Danielle) of Newton Grove, James Davis of Newton Grove, Jeremiah Davis (Baileigh) of Newton Grove, Megan Milam of Red Oak, Magion Baker of Benson, Jeffrey Herring of Four Oaks, Michelle Kitchen (Adam) of Wilson, Michael Wilson of Sims, Richard Wilson (Ashley) of Wilson and Matthew Wilson (Ashley) of Sims. He is also survived by twenty-three great-grandchildren.
