She was predeceased by : her husband Elder Robert L. Farmer; her parents, Tom Dawson and Dora Ellis Dawson; and her siblings, Fannie Best, Annie Mae Mitchell and Charles Oscar Williams.

She is survived by : her son Robert Junior Farmer (Anna) of Raleigh, NC; her grandson John Rodriquez Farmer, III of Fayetteville, NC; and her brother Thomas Dawson (Rosa Lee) of Wilson, NC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
