He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lee and Lula Mitchell Bissette; his wife Dorothy Bissette; and his daughter Sandra Gail Potter. He is survived by: his daughter Bonnie Mendoza of Kenly; his grandchildren, Tony Mendoza, Juanito Mendoza, Phillip Jackson and Brian Nathaniel Potter; and his siblings, Margaret Pearce of Princeton and Junior Bissette of Princeton. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
