He is survived by: his wife Bernice Baker Tyner; his son Tim Tyner (Franca Grillo) of Kenly; his sisters, Nettie Bennett (Bill) of Princeton and Patricia Lewis of Morehead City; his grandchildren, Keaton Tyner of Selma and Hunter Briley of Greenville; and his great grandchild Lauren Briley.
