She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester D. Phillips and Mattie Bryant Phillips; her daughter Verna Prock (Ed Eudy); her grandson Adam Woodard; and her brothers, Junius and J. B..
She is survived by: her children, Linda Cornetti of Raleigh, Shiela Bell (Jay) of Princeton and Hank Baker (Susan) of Raleigh; and her grandchildren, Isaac Cornetti (Erin), Brian Minchew (Karen), Ricky Baker, Melissa Cornetti, Mary Cornetti (Mitchell Maynard), Alison Shepherd (Silas), Megan Wright (Mike) and Joey Baker (Kate). She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
In accordance with NC-COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing and the three W's: wait, wash, and wear a face covering.
