He was predeceased by: his parents, Othal Dixon and Lettie Dixon; his wife Evelyn S. Dixon; and his siblings, Rev. Carl Dixon, A. J. Dixon (Bill), Rev. Eumunes Dixon, Lamuel Lee Dixon, Willis Dixon, Gertrude D. Parrish and Louise D. McLaurin.
He is survived by: his children, Graylon (Carolyn) of Four Oaks and Bonnie D. Beasley of Smithfield; his grandchildren, Pagelia Hinson (Michael), Kevin Beasley and April Mendenhall (Joe); his great grandchildren, Mackenzie Hinson, Tate and Gage Mendenhall; and his sister Velma D. Baldock of Chicago, IL..
He was currently the pianist at Smithfield Pentecostal Holiness Church where he was dedicated to until sickness and covid would not allow him to attend.
