It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Flossie Mae Williams Avery (Smithfield, North Carolina), who passed away on June 10, 2021, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Grant Williams and Julia Williams; her husband James Avery; and her daughter Julia Mae Dublin Mills. She is survived by: her children, Beulah Dublin Howell of Winston-Salem, NC, Nathan "Troy" Dublin (Beverly) of Smithfield, NC and Nathaniel "Roy" Dublin (Gloria) of Clayton, NC; and her close friends, Betty Agnes Sanders of Smithfield, NC. and Irene Stevens of Smithfield, NC.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
