Helen Gurley McLamb Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 3, 2021, at the age of 87, Helen Gurley McLamb of Smithfield, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Devie and Netie Williford Gurley; her husband James Wilbert "Buck" McLamb, Jr.; and her siblings, William Kenneth Gurley, Billy Ray Gurley, Bobby Sherwood Gurley and Joyce Gurley Odom.
She is survived by: her daughter Jan Whitley (Jay); her granddaughters, Jena Whitley Andrews (Taylor) of Smithfield and Jill Whitley Bragg (Josh) of Smithfield; and her great grandchildren, Maxton Andrews, Marin Andrews and Jordan Bragg.
