She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Hinton and Frances Bell Hinton; and her sister Surluta Schatzman (Dianne). She is survived by: her siblings, Edward Hinton, Francis Hinton and Bernieitha Morrison. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
