She is survived by: her children, John William Blackman of Four Oaks and Kelly Anne Higgins (Ian) of Smithfield; her siblings, Tommy Broughton (Marie) of Pikeville, Christopher Broughton of Laurinburg, Albert Broughton (Cora) of Kentucky, Michael Broughton (Angela) of Smithfield, Carol Durkin of Virginia and Faye Harper (Kenny) of Princeton; and her grandchildren, Erik Higgins, Connor Higgins, Justin Lucas, Jayden Blackman and Maverick Blackman.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Casey Funeral Home & Cremations (105 E 1st St, Princeton, NC 27569). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
