It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Atkins Mundy of Smithfield, North Carolina, who passed away on December 7, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Atkins and Marjorie Atkins; her husband Jerome Bruce Mundy; and her brother Jarvis Dwight Atkins. She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Naef (Jeff) of Cary and Beverly Davis of Clayton; and her grandchildren, Brooks Davis (Rufi) of Wendell, Brandon Davis (Rachael) of Beaufort, Morgan Davis (David) of Clayton, Jeffrey Naef Jr. of Littlefield, AZ and Brittany Naef of New Bern. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
