As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Mary Elizabeth may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul McCoy and Mattie McCoy; and her spouse Willie Williams. She is survived by: her children, Larry, Saundra, Floyd and Emma Saylon; her grandchildren, Megan Williams, Larry D. Williams and Devon Williams; and her friend Luretha Date. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Juniper Grove Disciple Church (5350 U. S. Hwy 301 S, Four Oaks, NC 27524).
