She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Thompson and Ima Davis Thompson; her husband Person Daughtry; and her brother Everette Thompson. She is survived by: her children, Jeff Daughtry (Wanda) of La Grange and Gloria Holmes (Bobby) of Smithfield; and her grandchildren, Melissa VanderHelm, Joy Hill, Scotty Taylor, Daniel Daughtry, Amy Daughtry-Grubbs, Jon Holmes and Elizabeth Grounds. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
Daughtry enjoyed flowers, but her request was that memorial contributions be made to her favorite mountain retreat, Cragmont Assembly, 1233 North Fork Road, Black Mountain, NC 28711.
