He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Ozella Dublin Lassiter; his stepfather Walter Lassiter; his wife Irene Davis Dublin; his siblings, Tom Lassiter, Eula Mae Lassiter and Mary Sanders; his niece Lillie Whitfield; his stepchildren, Michael Davis and Iwanda Davis; his stepgrandsons, Dennis Davis and Samuel Davis; his great-niece Angela Lester of Clarksville, TN; and his great-nephews, Floyd Moore of Raleigh, NC, Keith Moore, Sr. (Paulette) of Garner, NC and Durwood Moore, Sr. (Lisa) of Cedar Park, TX. He was also cherished by other nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
