He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Perry Hartley and Leacy Oliver Hartley. He is survived by: his wife Edith Elaine Boykin Hartley; his children, Travis Hartley, Shannon Daniels (Dan) of Goldsboro, Heather Goodman (Jeff) of Marina and Kyle Hartley (Jennifer) of Smithfield; his grandchildren, Ava Goodman, Anna Hartley and Luke Hartley; and his siblings, Vaden Hartley (Marie), Francis McLamb (Delma), Shirley Stewart and Connie Eason. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
Although flowers are welcome, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Johnston Community Church, P.O. Box 36, Selma, N.C. 27576 in memory of W.R. Hartley.
