He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lambert (Jack) and Dorothy Lambert; and his brother Daniel Lambert (Danny). He is survived by: his wife Irene Lambert; his son John Lambert Junior (Nathalie); his grandson Erin Fisher (Jonathan); his brother Bob (Patti); and his mothers-in-law, Patty Peterson (Robert) and Coleen Sutherland (Bill). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Steve's name to Western Ferals of Onslow County, the Nature Conservancy, Rails to Trails, or your local animal rescue organizations.
