With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Percy Leroy Norton Jr. of Sneads Ferry, North Carolina, born in Cumberland, North Carolina, who passed away on April 23, 2024 at the age of 92. He was predeceased by : his parents, Percy Leroy Norton, Sr. and Mable Hilburn Norton; and his brother Howard E. Norton. He is survived by : his daughters, Sharon N. Mayhew and Beverlee Conklin (Doug); his grandchildren, Cory Ash, Mandy Boyette (Kelvin) and Kristal McDonagh (Mike); and his great grandchildren, Emma Reno, Allie Reno, Carson Boyette, Grayson Boyette, Sloan McDonagh, Ronan McDonagh and Maddox Ash.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home (545 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Jernigan-Warren Chapel (545 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A committal service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Lafayette Memorial Park (2301 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301).
