She is survived by : her husband Edward Dawson; her children, Debra Shackelford of Greenville, Belinda Ellis (Marshall) of Snow Hill and Kim Grady (Tommy) of Kinston; her grandchildren, Chad Ellis (Wendy), Joe Ellis, Amy Ellis (Curt), Will Ellis, Austin Shackelford (Jordan), Caleb Grady and Gavin Grady; and her sister Lynn Gay Hobbs (Kenny) of Farmville. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
