James Watkins Futrell Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 12, 2025, at the age of 76, James Watkins Futrell in Snow Hill, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Watkins Futrell to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Miller Futrell and Ellen Watkins Futrell; and his sister Patsy Aycock. He is survived by: his wife Linda Woodard Futrell; his son Kenneth (Bonnie) of Kinston; his grandsons, Hunter of Vancouver Washington and Zach Marshburn of Kinston; his godson Charly Morales; and his brother Fred Futrell (Jean) of La Grange. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rouse Funeral Home (108 N Caswell St, La Grange, NC 28551). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery (3888 US Hwy 70 W, Goldsboro, NC 27569).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be directed to the Mama Tara Miskito Orphanage, P.O. Box 1076, Acworth GA 30101.
