She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry B. Fields and Lossie Heath Fields; her husband Reverend Ned D. Sauls; her sons, Ted D. Sauls Sr. and Barry D. Sauls; and her siblings, Dorothy F. Barrow, Barbara F. Radford and Harry Lee Fields.
She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Sauls Atkinson (Ed); her daughter-in-law Martha J. Sauls; her grandchildren, Ted D. Sauls, Jr. (Paula), Jason William Rouse, Brian Douglas Sauls, Elijah Monte and Jordan Perry Atkinson (Jenna); her great grandchildren, Kennedy Nicole Sauls, Hailey Gray Sauls, Zachary Darrell Sauls and Ivey Belle Atkinson; her granddaughters, Anne Gray, Rebecca Tyndall and Evelyn Chase; her cousin Jeanette Price Moore; and her caregiver Ellen Ryals. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service (117 NW 3rd St, Snow Hill, NC 28580). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
