He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Jessie Dozier and Alice Lillian Leland Dozier; his son Anthony Martina Dozier; and his siblings, Lela Mae Bogard, Beadie Bogard, Carolyn Hernard and Bill "Wick" Dozier.
He is survived by : his wife Lannie Jones Dozier; his children, Annie Irene Dozier and Walter J. Dozier, Jr.; his grandchildren, Jessie Anton Shervey and Christopher Douglas Shervey; his brother Robert Leon Dozier; and his sisters-in-law, Christine McKinley and Patsy Dozier. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
