She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Lee Richardson and Annabel McCain Richardson; her husband Aster O. Staley; her son Arthur Lee Staley; and her siblings, Ernest "Bud" Richardson, David Richardson and Maxine White.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ruth Luther of Asheboro and Inez Hoover (Wayne) of Asheboro; her daughter-in-law Nancy Staley of Sophia; her siblings, Doris "Dot" Hill (Wilbur) of Asheboro and Tom Richardson (Claudia) of Sophia; her aunt Margaret Richardson of Sophia; and her grandchildren, Lynne Gillen, Gale Luther, Theresa Thurston (Bradley), Jamie Lynch (Chuck), Melisa Simmons (Michael) and Jennifer Staley. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
