Joseph Peterson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Peterson (Sophia, North Carolina), born in Asheboro, North Carolina, who passed away on June 3, 2019 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady William and Flava Lanier Peterson; and his brother Bobby Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Jean Threadgill Peterson; his sons, Wesley Peterson (Claudia) of Sophia and Brian Peterson (Tanya) of Jamestown; his grandchildren, Angela Peterson of Sophia, Christina Wilson (Mark) of Sophia and Jason Peterson (Christyne) of Archdale; and his sister Janice Clark (Stanley) of Sophia. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
