With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jimmie Daughtry Brickhouse of South Mills, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Brickhouse (Vera Allen Brickhouse) and Mary Leigh McPherson Brickhouse; his son Jimmie D. Brickhouse, Jr.; and his siblings, Helen Bess, Jack Brickhouse and Thomas Brickhouse.
He is survived by: his daughter Lynne Beedie (Gary) of South Mills, NC; his grandchildren, Laura Blanton (Josh), Matt Beedie (Joy), Jimmie D. Brickhouse III and Danielle Brickhouse; his great grandchildren, Harper Leigh, Edie Anne, Frannie Grace and London; and his friend Mary Walton.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Twiford Funeral Homes (405 E Church St, Elizabeth City, NC 27909). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Memory Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that you use the money you would have spent on them to take a loved one to dinner, cherishing the time together as Jimmie would have appreciated.
