He was predeceased by: his parents, Kelly Harper and Lottie Ann Blair Harper; his former wife Opal Ratliff Harper; and his daughter Barbara Ann Harper. He is survived by: his wife Linda Munn Harper; his sons, David Harper of Myrtle Beach, Denzel Harper (Cathy) of Aberdeen, Randy Harper (Rosie) of Kentucky and Kenneth Harper (Bethany) of Carthage; his stepsons, Walter Gordon (Lorie) of Delaware and Bruce Gordon (Randa) of Virginia Beach, VA; and his siblings, Merlene Smith of Indiana, Shirley Stewart of Florida and Jimmy Harper of Indiana. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
