It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deborah Metivier Petty (Southern Pines, North Carolina), born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on June 3, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Metivier and Martha Bouchard Metivier; and her sister Linda Hollock. She is survived by: her husband Steve Petty of Vass, NC; her daughter Karen Haynes (David) of Portland, ME; her stepchildren, Steve Petty (Amy) of Elm City, NC and Heather Satinsky (Otto) of Chapel Hill, NC; and her siblings, Allen Metivier of Scarborough, ME, Cynthia Babineau (Paul) of Cary, NC and Kathleen Peacock (Ward) of Asheville, NC. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
