He is survived by: his wife Vicki Maness Phillips; his children, Tonya Beane, Kim Brown (Tony), Wayne Phillips (Pansie) and Kevin Phillips (Misty); his grandchildren, Megan, Michael, Laurin, Kristen and Andy; his stepgrandchildren, Braxton, Tyler and Destiny; his great grandchildren, Chezlynne, Mason, Maliki and Mackenzie; his stepgreat-grandchild Journee; and his siblings, Delores Moore (Jerry) and Charles Phillips (Judy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
