We are sad to announce that on September 13, 2021, at the age of 69, John Howard Maness (Southern Pines, North Carolina), born in Robbins, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Felton Maness and Maxine Williams Maness; his parents-in-law, Everett Haywood and Joyce Frye Haywood; his siblings, Michael Maness and Sarah Connell; and his grandchildren, Brighton Hope and Coconut.
He is survived by: his wife Hope Haywood Maness; his children, Chris Maness of Carthage and Hollie Morgan (Will); his grandchildren, Lacey, Cash of West End and Brandon Maness (Brooke); and his great grandchildren, Madeline and JB of West End. He is also survived by wife, their children, and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Brighton Hope Cuddle Cot Fund and/or the Moore County Animal Shelter.
