It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loran Alexander Crowell of Southern Pines, North Carolina, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 21, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Lambert Crowell and Elizabeth Gerrie Crowell; and his brother Daniel Crowell, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Crowell; his children, David Crowell Crowell (Debra), Jane Fyfe and Judi Black; his grandchildren, Colleen, Katherine, Cameron (Elizabeth), Christopher, Elizabeth, Scott (Katie) and Melinda; and his sister Nancy Forest (late Charles).
