She was predeceased by : her parents, Joe Clark Hodges and Mary Laura Blackburn Hodges; and her husband Jesse Ray "Tom" Faulkner. She is survived by : her children, Tommy Faulkner (Betsy) of Pinehurst and Mary Sue Faulkner of Southern Pines; her grandchildren, Jesse Ray Faulkner, III and Leslie Morse (Seth); her great grandchild Franklin Ray Morse; her brother Wendell Hodges (Mimi); her nephews, Brian (Sarah) and Scott Hodges (Allison); her great-nephews, Ben, Thomas, Samuel and Johnny; her great-niece Mary Laura; her stepchildren, Kathy Sanford (Davis), Mary Ellen Piland (Jim), Ann Ryder and William Earl "Bill" Hicks, II; her stepgrandchildren, John McDonald (Stephanie), Dan McDonald (Alyce), Jared Piland (Amy), Will Piland, Suzanne Christiana (Matthew) and Tommy Meares (Nicole); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Kayla McDonald, Ayden McDonald, Jameson, Whitton Piland, Ella, Jake Christiana, Aurelia and Everly Meares; her stepsister Jean Hicks; her siblings-in-law, Hyman Leroy Faulkner (Viola) and Sue Horne (David); her nieces and nephews, Tim Faulkner (Kelly), Ben Faulkner (Chrissy), Kent Little, Randy Brauner (Dawn), Hal Pilgreen (Sue), Donna Hudson and Allyson Pilgreen; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Luke, Andrew, Carson, Kevin, Brittany, Leighton and Lydia. She is also survived by loving mother to her children.
