She is survived by : her husband David Edward Gathers; her children, Crystal Gathers-Whatley (Wilbert) and David Diamond Gathers (Wilma); her grandchildren, Jocelyn Calip (Jimmy), Joshua Clark, Nicole Gathers, Chay Gathers and Blade Gathers; her great grandchildren, Kenneth and Emmanuel Calip; her pet Princess; and her sister Lucy Davis.

The family has prayerfully decided that due to the surge of COVID-19, RSV, and the Flu virus, to have a private family funeral.
