She was predeceased by: her parents, James Nixon and Edith Badgett Nixon. She is survived by: her husband John A. Frye of Southern Pines, NC; her sons, Robert Daniel McDiarmid of Apex, NC and John Kenneth McDiarmid of Union, SC; her nieces, Melinda Wallace (Justin) of Southern Pines, NC and Theresa Welborn (Bryan) of Ashley Heights, NC; her stepsons, Tracy Walker Frye and Michael Travis Frye (Dede); her brother Harold Nixon (Faye) of Sumter, SC; and her grandchildren, Hannah, Megan McDiarmid, Justinlee, Zachary Wallace, Mack and Jack Frye.
