He is survived by: his wife Lessie Straughn Pennington; his sons, Chris Pennington (Lynn), Patrick Pennington and Danny Pennington (Alana); his siblings, Larry Pennington of Asheboro and Eva L Smith of Gray, Georgia; and his grandsons, Gage Pennington, Logan Pennington, Colby Pennington, Blake Pennington, Brett Pennington and Brian Nall. He is also survived by 2 sons, 1 daughter, 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren.
