We are sad to announce that on December 7, 2021, at the age of 91, Sarah Slate Stancil (Southern Pines, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Clifton Stancil; her parents, Herman Slate and Anna Slate; her children, Dale Crouch, Joel Stancil, Robin Crouch and Mary Willie Babson; and her siblings, Frances Oldham, Myrtle Teal and Herman Slate, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Gail; her son-in-law Keith Hardin of Carthage; and her sister Mary "Tut" Smith of Statesville, NC. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
