He is survived by : his parent Carrie Ruth Long Leatherwood; his children, John Leatherwood of Southern Shores, NC, Jeanne Leatherwood, Teri Sawyer (Clevie) of Powells Point, NC, Daniel Gemeny (Kristen) of Templeton, CA, Donald Gemeny (Kate) of Branson, MO and David Gemeny of Charlottesville, VA.; his grandchildren, Kyle Leatherwood, Morgan Leatherwood, Jordan Leatherwood, Wade Coote, Jenaleigh Coote, Annah Sawyer, Krista Sawyer, Sarah Gemeny and Keith Gemeny; and his children, Betty Showers (Wayne) of Front Royal, VA and Virginia Ruth Kash (Gene).
