It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy Francis Myers of Southport, North Carolina, who passed away on July 31, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Loren Strotheide and Mildred Strotheide; and her siblings, Beunna Lake, Robert Strotheide and Loren J. Strotheide.

She is survived by: her husband Gary Lee Myers; her son Chris (Sheila); and her sisters, Carol Hoskins, Jan Zawacki, Jean Lundquist (John) and Beverly Garrison. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Gentiva Hospice.
