She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Van Owens and Mattie Craven Owens of Virginia; her sons, Michael, Samuel and Daniel Broadway; her sister Mary Magdalene Owens; and her husband Furman Broadway. She was also cherished by her two grandsons, five granddaughters, a great granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, the Broadway's would prefer donations be made to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 955 Mercy Lane, Bolivia, North Carolina 28422.
