She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard "Sonny" Dewitt Blackburn and Lois Blackburn Billings; and her brother Ricky Gayle Blackburn. She is survived by: her husband Dale Caveny; her children, Brett David Stike of Charlotte and Taylor Lynn Stike of Elkin; her stepchildren, John Caveny (Courtney) of Vilas and Elizabeth Snyder (Sean) of Louisville, KY; her stepfather Jim Billings of Thurmond; her sister-in-law Cathy Blackburn of Elkin; her grandson Liam Jack Smith; her stepgrandchildren, Peter Snyder, Addie Snyder, Jackson Caveny and Lainey Caveny; her sibling's children, Cameron Blackburn, Seth Longbottom, Ben Longbottom and Mattie Blackburn; and her great-niece Emeline Settle.
