It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty McKinney (Sparta, North Carolina), who passed away on August 19, 2018, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Wayne McKinney; and her sister Delma Mahan of Sparta. She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Marilyn Crouse of Sparta and Virginia Holloway of Piney Creek; and her nephews, Wint Brown (Ella) of Wilkesboro and Junior Brown (Ruby) of Wilkesboro. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
