She is survived by: her parents, Homer T. Sides and Bonnie Payne Sides of Sparta; her husband John "Buddy" Nelson; her son Chad M. Reece (Kimberly) of Sparta; her granddaughter Lexie Reece; and her sisters, Loretta Sides Shore (Ricky Long) of Lewisville and Debra Sides Haynes (Mike) of Charleston, S. C.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
