He is survived by: his sons, Jimmy Hawkins (Amanda) of Laurel Springs, Chris Hawkins (Donna) of Millers Creek, Corey Higgins of Cullowhee, Brian Anderson (Selena) of Piney Creek and Jason Anderson (Amanda) of Jefferson; his grandchildren, Gracie Hawkins, Madison Anderson, Jada Anderson and Hunter Anderson; and his brothers, John Hunter Hawkins of Laurel Springs and Sam Edward Hawkins of Virginia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
